Senior IT Specialist

Position Summary | Purpose

Seeking a Senior IT Specialist to join our team with strong networking experience along with experience with switches, routers, and fibers. This position is classified as exempt and offers a Monday-Friday 7a-4p or 8a-5p schedule with on-call work as required.

Job Description
  • Primary Duties Include:
    • General network connectivity functions
    • Handling all the fibers, switches, and routers
    • Maintaining the security functions (SonicWall/Firewall experience preferred)
    • IT project management
    • Maintaining Citrix Studio and Xendesktop2
    • All software renewals
    • Hands-on hardware support
    • Camera Security system management and support
    • Office 365 administration
    • Analyzing, testing, and troubleshooting network systems
    • AS400/Frontier ERP system management
    • Linux server management
    • Communication with manufacturing and co-workers regularly to resolve IT-related issues.
    • Problem-solving to deliver solutions in a timely manner
    • Working in a team environment
  • Preferred Experience:
    • One year of Network Administration experience
    • One year experience with Switches and Routers
    • One year hardware support experience
  • Required Education and Experience:
    • Four-year degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience in a computer-related field
    • Two years experience in an Information Technology role
